Friends & Family Info Sessions

Do you have a friend or family member that was recently diagnosed with aphasia? Would you like to learn more about aphasia and simple tips for improved communication?

Join ARC’s Friend & Family Informational Sessions to learn more about aphasia, receive resources, and ask questions to a Speech Language Pathologist!

Aphasia can be very lonely and isolating. And honestly, it impacts the entire network of family and friends – as communication is what keeps you connected.

Now that communication has changed, the conversation partner may need to make some simple adjustments to their communication style in order to best support the person with aphasia.

Join us to learn more about aphasia and strategies to make communication more successful. Your friend or loved one is counting on you! They need your support now, more than ever!

These free sessions are offered on Zoom. We encourage you to invite your support network to learn more.

Look for upcoming sessions in our newsletter or on our Facebook Group under “Events”.

Learn. Share. Connect.

“It takes two to tango. Communication is a two-way street. Friends and family are so very important for success!”
